As a designer, I believe creativity can do more than communicate—it can help create positive change.
I'm pleased to share my latest Behance project, a social media awareness campaign created for the Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE), a Canadian registered charity dedicated to advancing equity in cancer care.
As a volunteer graphic designer, I use my skills in visual communication, storytelling, and design to help raise awareness about cancer care accessibility, health equity, and community support. Through educational and advocacy-focused content, I hope to contribute to conversations that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
This project is especially meaningful to me. Twenty years ago, I moved from the countryside of Tochigi, Japan, to Canada. Along the way, I discovered that design is not only a creative profession but also a powerful tool for connection, understanding, and advocacy.
Being able to use what I love, what I do best, and the skills I've developed in Canada to support cancer patients and families in both Canada and Ghana is an opportunity I deeply value.
I continue to believe that small steps can lead to meaningful change.
